Thailand is not short for beautiful destinations, be it beaches or towns, Thailand is arguably one of the most beautiful countries in Asia. But we’re here to uncover the two most hidden gems of Thailand. The untouched spots. The less tourist spoilt areas that will take your breath away.
- Khao Sok
The first of the two hidden beauties is Khao Sok. This is Thailand’s jungle, rainforest and national park all in one. Forget the sandy beaches, this place is all about lush green, nature trails, wildlife and views you can’t even imagine existed! There is tons to do on Khao Sok such as rafting, canoeing and hiking. It’s a simple place, understated and easy. Most of the accommodation is little tree huts or bungalows on stilts, just to get you to embrace the stunning nature around you! Wake up to the sound of cockerels, see the sunrise over the mountains and breathe in the fresh unpolluted are… is there anything better?
- Khao Lak
Just below Khao Sok lies Khao Lak, more well known but still stunning and unspoilt by tourism. If you want to see some breathtaking waterfalls, this is your place. With waterfalls gushing from hundreds of metres high and lush green surrounding them, you’ll be in nature heaven. We recommend bringing your bathers and getting right under the falls. Feel the magic of the natural waters flowing and take in the natural beauty this place has to offer. But shhh…. don’t tell too many people!!
